A delightful layered dessert featuring mascarpone, fresh berries, and champagne, perfect for celebrations. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 200 g mascarpone cheese
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 200 ml champagne (or sparkling wine)
- 200 g mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries)
- 100 g cookie crumbs (such as biscuit or ladyfinger cookies)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugars until stiff peaks form.
2. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until the mixture is smooth.
3. Pour the champagne into the bowl and mix lightly.
4. Take serving glasses and place a layer of cookie crumbs at the bottom.
5. Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the cookie crumbs.
6. Spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the berries.
7. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
8. Garnish with additional berries and cookie crumbs if desired.
9. Allow the trifles to chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
10. Serve chilled and enjoy!
