A delicious blend of spicy chai tea and chocolate, perfect for cold winter evenings.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 dl milk (or plant-based milk)
- 2 dl water
- 2 chai tea bags
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp sugar (or honey)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- A pinch of salt
- Whipped milk (for garnish)
- Cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Heat the water in a saucepan until boiling.
2. Add the chai tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
3. Remove the tea bags and add cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir well.
4. Add the milk and heat the mixture over low heat until hot but not boiling.
5. Pour the drink into coffee cups and garnish with whipped milk and a cinnamon stick.
