A warm and spiced chocolate drink perfect for cozy evenings. Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 5 dl whole milk
- 1 dl dark cocoa powder
- 0.5 tsp cardamom
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 10 whole cloves
- 2 star anise
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 2-4 tbsp cane sugar
- Whipped cream for topping
Instructions:
1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Sift in the cocoa powder and add all the spices.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the chai-kaakao steep for 30 minutes.
4. Strain out the spices and reheat the chai-kaakao.
5. Serve topped with whipped cream and enjoy the festive atmosphere!
