Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp anise
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp black tea (such as Assam or Darjeeling)
- 2 cups milk
- Sugar or honey to taste
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, simmer the spices in water for about 10 minutes.
2. Add the tea leaves and steep covered for 5–7 minutes. Strain the tea.
3. Stir in the milk and heat until just boiling.
4. Sweeten the tea to your liking and serve warm.
