Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g spaghetti
- 150 g bacon or pancetta
- 2 eggs
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. Chop bacon and garlic cloves. Fry bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
3. In a bowl, crack the eggs and add grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
4. Drain the cooked pasta, reserving some pasta water. Add pasta to the warm bacon mixture.
5. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the egg mixture. Add reserved pasta water as needed until the texture is creamy.
6. Season with salt and black pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
