Brookie is the perfect combination of chocolate-filled brownie and delicious cookie. This sweet treat is a great choice for dessert or a snack. Preparation Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients
Brownie: - 120 g butter
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 50 g milk chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 1.5 dl palm sugar (or cane sugar / brown sugar)
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 0.5 dl cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp baking powder
Cookie:
- 100 g soft butter
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 100 g chopped milk chocolate
Instructions
1. Prepare the brownie batter: - Melt the butter, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and sugars in a saucepan over low heat.
- Once melted, transfer to a bowl and add the eggs one at a time, whisking vigorously.
- Combine the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder) and add to the batter. Mix until smooth.
2. Prepare the cookie batter:
- Cream the soft butter and sugar in a bowl. Add the egg and mix well.
- Combine the dry ingredients (flour and baking soda) separately and add to the batter.
- Fold in half of the chocolate chunks and mix thoroughly.
3. Assemble the brookie:
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Pour the brownie batter into the dish and spread it evenly.
- Use a tablespoon to drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top of the brownie batter. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunks on top.
4. Bake:
- Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. The brookie should remain soft and slightly gooey.
5. Serve:
- Allow the brookie to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or let it cool for later.
