This delicious chicken pie is a perfect meal idea for a weekend dinner or a celebration. The crispy crust is filled with juicy chicken filling that will delight diners of all ages. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp canola oil - 2.5 dl iodized salt
- 0.5 dl vegetable fat blend (7% fat)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 2.5 dl sugar
- 0.5 dl light milk (1.5% fat)
- Fresh yeast (average amount)
- 300 g bread flour mix
- 450 g grated cheese (12% fat)
- Honey-marinated chicken fillets
Instructions:
1. Prepare the dough by mixing canola oil, iodized salt, vegetable fat blend, and onion. 2. Add sugar and light milk to the dough mixture. Stir well.
3. Crumble fresh yeast into the dough and add the bread flour mix. Knead until the dough is smooth.
4. Let the dough rest for about 15 minutes.
5. Prepare the chicken filling by frying the honey-marinated fillets in a pan until golden brown.
6. Roll out the dough and place it in a pie dish. Pour the chicken filling on top and sprinkle grated cheese evenly.
7. Bake the pie at 180°C (356°F) for about 30-40 minutes or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
