A savory chicken liver pâté perfect for spreading on bread. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 100 g chicken liver
- Ground chicken or chicken fillets
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 can (200/120 g) chanterelles
- 0.5 dl potato flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 1 egg
- A small bunch of chervil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Finely chop the onion and mix it with the ground chicken.
2. Add the chicken liver and mix well.
3. Heat the butter or margarine in a pan and add the chanterelles. Sauté until cooked.
4. Add the sautéed chanterelles to the meat mixture.
5. Stir in the potato flour, lemon juice, salt, heavy cream, and egg.
6. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
7. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 40-50 minutes or until the pâté is set.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chervil.
