A soft and delicious bread, perfect for enjoying warm or toasted. This recipe highlights the sweet and buttery flavor of brioche, and it's easy to make.
Preparation Time: 1 hour 30 minutes (including rising)
Serving Size: 1.5-liter loaf
Ingredients:
- 1.25 dl cold water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 11 g dry yeast
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 125 g softened butter
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
2. Knead the dough with a mixer for 10-15 minutes until smooth and elastic.
3. Grease a 1.5-liter loaf pan.
4. Pour the loose dough into the prepared pan.
5. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 30-60 minutes.
6. Preheat the oven to 200°C (Gas 4).
7. Bake the brioche in the oven for about 25 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
8. Remove the brioche from the pan immediately and cool on a wire rack.
