A traditional Brazilian stew made with black beans and a variety of meats, perfect for sharing with friends or family.
Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 6-8 servings

Ingredients:

- 400 g black beans
- 200 g ground beef
- 200 g smoked bacon
- 200 g chorizo sausage
- 1 onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Rice for serving

Instructions:

1. Soak the black beans overnight in plenty of water.
2. Rinse the beans and boil them in water for about 1 hour until soft.
3. Chop the onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a large pot and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
4. Add the ground beef, bacon, and chorizo to the pot. Cook until the meats are browned.
5. Stir in the cooked beans, bay leaves, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
6. Let the stew simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
7. Serve the feijoada with rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
