Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth.
3. Add the sugar to the chocolate mixture and mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gently fold until combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is set but slightly soft in the center.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
