A delightful and tangy cranberry dessert, perfect for a light treat.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 dl cranberries
- 4 dl water
- 1 dl water for thickening
- 1-2 tablespoons potato starch
- 1/2 dl sugar
- 1/2 banana, diced (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Bring 4 dl of water to a boil in a pot.
2. Add the cranberries to the boiling water and let them pop for a few moments.
3. Reduce the heat and prepare the thickening: mix 1 dl of water with the potato starch in a bowl.
4. Slowly pour the thickening mixture into the boiling cranberry mixture while stirring continuously.
5. Add the sugar and mix well.
6. Remove from heat as soon as the kissel reaches your desired thickness.
7. Serve in bowls and top with diced banana.
