Ingredients:
- 200 g margarine
- 2 dl sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 2 dl orange juice
- 100 g dark chocolate (melted)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and let it cool slightly.
3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
4. Add the melted margarine and orange juice to the egg-sugar mixture and mix well.
5. In another bowl, combine the baking powder, vanilla sugar, flour, and cocoa powder. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
6. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the batter.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
8. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving. You can decorate it with chocolate frosting or orange slices if desired.
