Ingredients:

- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1 dl milk
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 g cocoa powder (for Christmas flavor)
- 150 g berries or fruits (for summer flavor)
- Powdered sugar for decoration

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Beat the butter and sugar in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and cocoa powder (omit cocoa if using berries).
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients and milk to the batter, mixing until smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
8. Allow the cake to cool, then dust with powdered sugar and optionally top with berries or fruits.
