A delightful and delicious orange cake topped with chocolate icing. Perfect for coffee time!Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 1 package cottage cheese with pineapple
- 1 tbsp concentrated orange juice
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 dl powdered sugar
- 1 dl whipped cream
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 250°C (482°F).
2. Whisk the eggs and sugar until frothy.
3. Add the cottage cheese and orange juice, mixing well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cocoa powder) and add to the batter.
5. Mix in the melted butter until smooth.
6. Pour the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.
7. Allow to cool.
8. Prepare the icing: whip the cream and gradually add the powdered sugar.
9. Spread the icing over the cooled cake and serve.
