Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef (or chicken)- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 8 taco shells
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 100 g shredded cheese
- 100 g lettuce, chopped
- 1 lime, sliced
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground meat. Brown the meat until fully cooked.2. Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is soft.
3. Stir in the taco seasoning and crushed tomatoes. Let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, warm the taco shells in the oven or on a skillet according to package instructions.
5. Fill the warm taco shells with the meat mixture and top with avocado, tomato, cheese, and lettuce.
6. Garnish with lime slices and fresh cilantro, if using.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy your tacos!
