Delicious scones made quickly, perfect for starting your brunch. Serve with Turkish yogurt and jam.

Serving Size: 8-10 scones

Ingredients:

- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 50 g sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 75 g cold butter
- 150 g Turkish yogurt
- 100 g dried cranberries (or raisins)
- (optional) 100 g shredded cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
3. Add the cold butter in small pieces and rub it into the mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs.
4. Stir in the Turkish yogurt and dried cranberries (or raisins), and the shredded cheese if using. Mix gently until the dough is just combined.
5. Divide the dough into two portions and shape them into balls. Flatten them slightly.
6. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with water or egg wash if desired.
7. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the scones are golden brown.
8. Serve warm with Turkish yogurt and jam.
