Ingredients:

- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 75 g cold butter
- 150 g Turkish yogurt
- 100 g dried cranberries (or raisins)
- 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C for fan-assisted oven).
2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add the cold butter in small pieces and rub it into the mixture until crumbly.
4. Stir in the Turkish yogurt and dried cranberries until just combined.
5. Shape the dough into balls and gently flatten them.
6. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush the scones with the beaten egg.
8. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
