A delicious Italian bread topped with bell peppers, olives, and blue cheese. Preparation time: 2 hours
Serving size: 8
Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cups warm water
- 25 g fresh yeast
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- About 10 olives, halved
- Crumbled blue cheese
- Olive oil
Instructions:
1. Warm the water until it is lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it.
2. Gradually add the salt and flour, mixing until a smooth and elastic dough forms.
3. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour.
4. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and pour the dough onto it. Press the dough out evenly with your hands.
5. Top the dough with sliced bell peppers and halved olives.
6. Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese evenly over the top.
7. Allow the dough to rise again for about 30 minutes.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
9. Let cool slightly before serving.
