Ingredients:
- 400 g pike fillets
- 100 g cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Paprika powder (optional)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into long strips. Place them in a bowl and mix with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika powder (if using).
2. Spread the sweet potato strips on a baking sheet and bake at 200°C (400°F) for about 25-30 minutes until crispy.
3. Meanwhile, prepare the pike patties. Chop the pike fillets into small pieces and place them in a bowl. Add cream cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
4. Shape the fish mixture into patties and coat them in breadcrumbs.
5. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan and fry the patties over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
6. Serve with sweet potato fries and garnish with fresh herbs.
