A comforting Finnish vegetable dish featuring potatoes, carrots, and peas, perfect as a side or main course. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g potatoes
- 200 g carrots
- 150 g peas
- 1 dl cream
- 50 g butter
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots into bite-sized pieces.
2. Boil the potatoes and carrots in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until they are tender.
3. Add the peas to the pot during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
4. Drain the vegetables and return them to the pot.
5. Stir in the cream and butter until well combined.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
