recipe

A delicious recipe that perfectly combines herb-infused grilled salmon and a refreshing pickled cucumber salad, ideal for summer barbecues!
Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 4 people

Ingredients:

- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp oil (e.g., olive oil)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and crushed chili pepper for seasoning
- Chopped herbs (e.g., dill, parsley)

Instructions:

1. Start by preparing the salad. Rinse the cucumber and slice it into thin strips using a vegetable peeler. Place the cucumber slices in a serving dish.
2. In a small bowl, mix together salt, sugar, and vinegar until dissolved. Sprinkle the chopped herbs over the cucumbers and drizzle the mixture on top. Let the cucumbers marinate in the fridge while you prepare the salmon.
3. Take a piece of aluminum foil that’s larger than the salmon fillet and fold it in half. Brush the surface of the foil with oil and place a salmon fillet on it, skin-side down. Fold the edges of the foil up around the salmon.
4. Drizzle lemon juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil evenly over the salmon. Lightly season with salt and crushed chili pepper. Top with chopped herbs.
5. Wrap the salmon in the foil and place it on the grill. Cook for about 25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
