Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Stir in the sugar until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture.
6. Pour in the milk and stir until the batter is smooth.
7. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
10. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream before serving.
