Ingredients:

- 2 dl rolled oats
- 5 dl water or milk
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- Cinnamon to taste
- Berries or nuts for garnish

Instructions:

1. Pour the rolled oats into a saucepan and add the water or milk.
2. Add a pinch of salt and stir well.
3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to boil.
4. Reduce the heat and let the oatmeal simmer for about 5-7 minutes, until thickened.
5. Meanwhile, slice the banana and add it to the oatmeal.
6. Stir in the honey or maple syrup and mix well.
7. Season with cinnamon to your liking.
8. Serve the oatmeal in bowls and garnish with berries or nuts.
