Ingredients:
- 200 g butter - 2 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 dl milk
- 200 g softened plums (e.g., dried)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan oven 160°C).2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
3. Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and spices. Gradually add this mixture to the batter, alternating with the milk.
6. Gently fold in the softened plums.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
8. Bake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
9. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
