Ingredients:

- 4 egg whites
- 1 cup (200g) sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar (for sweetening the cream)
- 300g fresh strawberries
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 120°C (250°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is glossy and firm.
3. Gently fold in the cornstarch and white wine vinegar into the meringue mixture.
4. Spread the meringue evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping the edges higher to form a "cake" shape.
5. Bake the meringue in the oven for about 1 hour. Leave the oven door ajar to cool the meringue inside.
6. Whip the heavy cream with the sugar until soft and fluffy.
7. Slice the strawberries and layer them over the cooled meringue base, then spread the whipped cream on top.
8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
