Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup vegan cream
- 1 cup berries (e.g., strawberries, raspberries)
- 1/2 cup vegan jam
- 1 cup savory fillings (e.g., hummus, avocado, cucumber)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add plant-based milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
4. Pour the batter into a parchment-lined baking pan and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
5. Allow the cake base to cool, and while it’s cooling, whip the vegan cream until fluffy.
6. Slice the cooled cake in half and spread vegan jam and berries on the bottom half. Place the other half on top.
7. Decorate the cake with whipped vegan cream and additional berries.
8. Prepare the savory fillings by spreading hummus or avocado on bread and adding sliced cucumbers.
9. Serve the vegan afternoon tea beautifully arranged.
