- 200 g butter - 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- Optional:
- 100 g cocoa powder (for chocolate cake)
- 100 g berries (e.g., blueberries or raspberries)
- 100 g nuts or chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan. 2. Beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the butter mixture alternately with the milk.
5. Stir in the vanilla sugar.
6. Divide the batter based on your preferred flavor: add cocoa, berries, or nuts.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through (test with a skewer).
