A delicious and slightly drier alternative to traditional glögi, combining spiced mulled wine with the delicate flavor of Earl Grey tea. Perfect for winter evenings!

Serving Size: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 liter red wine
- 2 dl water
- 4-5 Earl Grey tea bags
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 5-6 whole cloves
- 1-2 star anise seeds
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 dl brandy (optional)

Instructions:

1. Heat the water in a pot and add the tea bags. Let the tea bags steep for about 5 minutes.
2. Remove the tea bags and add red wine, sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, lemon zest, and orange zest to the pot.
3. Heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar has dissolved, but do not boil.
4. Let the glögi simmer for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Finally, add the brandy if using, and stir well.
6. Strain the glögi before serving and enjoy hot.
