Earl Grey Pannacotta with Vanilla Poached Pears

A delightful vegan dessert featuring creamy Earl Grey pannacotta paired with sweet, vanilla-infused poached pears. Preparation Time: 30 minutes (plus chilling time)
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 5 dl vegan whipping cream
- 1 ½ tablespoons Earl Grey tea
- ½ dl sugar
- 1 package vegan gelatine
For the Vanilla Poached Pears:
- 2 pears
- 3 dl water
- 1 dl sugar
- ½ lemon juice
- ½ vanilla bean
Instructions:
1. Measure the vegan whipping cream into a saucepan and add the Earl Grey tea.
2. Heat the mixture until it comes to a boil, then let it steep for a few minutes.
3. Strain the tea leaves out and return the liquid to the saucepan.
4. Add the sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
5. Incorporate the vegan gelatine and mix well. Heat gently until the mixture starts to thicken.
6. Pour the pannacotta mixture into serving cups and let cool. Transfer to the refrigerator to set for at least 4 hours.
7. For the vanilla poached pears, peel and slice the pears.
8. Combine the pears in a saucepan with water, sugar, lemon juice, and the split vanilla bean.
9. Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer on low heat until the pears are tender.
10. Serve the pannacotta with the poached pears and enjoy this delicious dessert!
