Delicious and sweet baked apples that are perfect for dessert or a snack. The sweetness of the filling can be adjusted based on the tartness of the apples.Preparation Time: 50 minutes
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 6-8 apples
- 1 cup oats
- 50 g butter
- 0.5 cup syrup
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- (optional) lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Core the apples using an apple corer.
2. Melt the butter and mix it with the oats. Add the syrup, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well. If the apples are very sweet, you can add lemon juice.
3. Fill the apples with the mixture. It's fine if some overflows, but filling them adds flavor.
4. Place the filled apples in an oven-safe dish.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 20-30 minutes, until the apples are soft.
6. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
