A delicious and nutritious baked omelet, perfect for picnics and tastes great served cold. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs - 1 dl milk
- 1 dl shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 100 g ham or vegetables (e.g., spinach or mushrooms), chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for greasing the baking dish
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C for a convection oven). 2. Grease a baking dish with butter or oil.
3. In a bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk. Whisk the mixture well.
4. Stir in the shredded cheese, diced bell pepper, chopped onion, and your choice of filling. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Pour the egg mixture into the greased baking dish.
6. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until the omelet is set and the top is a beautiful golden brown.
7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy it warm or cold.
