Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 g chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove the mixture from heat and stir in the sugar until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture and stir until the batter is smooth.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Optionally, decorate with chocolate frosting or berries before serving.
