A modern Asian dish featuring vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients. Preparation time: 30 minutes. Serving size: 2.
Ingredients:
- 200 g rice noodles
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, julienned
- 100 g peas
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a moment.
3. Add the julienned carrots and bell pepper to the pan. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
4. Add the peas and the cooked rice noodles to the pan. Mix well.
5. Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, and chili powder. Stir all the ingredients together and cook for a few more minutes.
6. Serve the dish garnished with fresh cilantro.
