Description: This delicious traditional Christmas casserole combines classic flavors and is easy to prepare in advance. Perfect for the festive dinner table.

Serving Size: 6 servings

Ingredients:

- 800 g potatoes
- 400 g carrots
- 300 g rutabaga
- 2 dl cream
- 2 dl milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 50 g butter
- 1 dl breadcrumbs

Instructions:

1. Peel and dice the potatoes, carrots, and rutabaga into small cubes.
2. Boil the vegetables in salted water for about 10 minutes until soft. Drain and mash.
3. Mix the mashed vegetables with cream, milk, eggs, black pepper, and nutmeg. Adjust salt if necessary.
4. Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the mixture into the dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
5. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 1 hour until the top is golden brown and set.
6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
