Serving Size: Approximately 20 liters

Ingredients:

- 4 kg light malt extract
- 500 g caramel malt
- 30 g hops (e.g., Saaz or Hallertau)
- 1 packet of beer yeast (e.g., lager or ale yeast)
- 20 liters of water
- 50 g sugar (for bottling)

Instructions:

1. Boil the water in a large pot.
2. Add the malt extract and caramel malt, stirring well and simmering on low heat for about 30 minutes.
3. Add the hops towards the end of the boil, about 10 minutes before finishing.
4. Cool the boiled wort quickly, for example, in ice-cold water.
5. Transfer the cooled wort to a fermentation vessel and add the yeast.
6. Allow the beer to ferment at room temperature for about 1-2 weeks, until fermentation is complete.
7. Bottle the beer, adding sugar during the bottling process. Let the bottled beer mature in a cool place for about 1-2 weeks before enjoying.
