Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 150 g butter
- 3 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- White fondant (for decoration)
- Food coloring (optional)
- Small decorations (e.g., Ti-Ti Nalle and bongo drums)
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. 2. Add the sugar to the mixture and stir well.
3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
7. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes or until the cake is fully cooked.
8. Allow the cake to cool before decorating.
9. Roll out the white fondant and shape it into Ti-Ti Nalle and bongo drums for decoration.
10. Decorate the cake as desired and add the decorations before serving.
