Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or fusilli)
- 100 ml cream
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook until they have softened.
4. Pour the cream into the pan and stir. If needed, add reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
5. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce and season with salt and pepper.
6. Grate Parmesan cheese over the pasta and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
