Ingredients
- 2 large eggs - 100 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 180 g all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- Vanilla sauce (for serving)
- Berries (for serving)
Instructions
1. Melt the butter and let it cool. 2. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the melted butter to the egg mixture and mix well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and vanilla sugar. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and stir until smooth.
5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan, approximately 24 cm in diameter.
6. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the cake is cooked but still slightly gooey in the center.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Enjoy with vanilla sauce and berries.
