A delicious and quick pasta pesto recipe, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti)
- 100 g fresh basil
- 50 g pine nuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- 120 ml olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cherry tomatoes (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Meanwhile, prepare the pesto: place the basil, pine nuts, garlic, and Parmesan cheese in a blender. Blend until smooth.
3. Gradually add the olive oil while blending until the pesto is creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Toss the cooked pasta with the pesto. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to achieve a smoother consistency.
5. Serve in bowls and garnish with cherry tomatoes if desired.
