A delightful treat that brings joy especially on Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. These heart-shaped chocolates are full of flavor and look stunning. Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: About 20 chocolates
Ingredients:
- 250 g milk chocolate
- 200 g white chocolate
- 4-6 tablespoons of crushed peppermint candies
- For decoration: 5 pieces of white chocolate
Instructions:
1. Temper the milk chocolate. Spoon the chocolate into the bottom and sides of a chocolate mold, tapping it to remove excess chocolate. Invert the mold to drain off any extra chocolate. Scrape off any chocolate left on the sides of the mold with a spatula and let it set.
2. Melt the white chocolate and mix in your desired amount of crushed peppermint. Spoon the filling into the hardened milk chocolate shells, gently tapping the mold on the table to release any air bubbles, and allow the chocolates to set.
3. Temper the remaining milk chocolate and spoon it over the hardened filling in the chocolate molds. Scrape off any excess chocolate with a spatula, tap the mold again, and let the chocolates set for a couple of hours in a cool place.
4. Remove the chocolates from the molds and decorate with the melted white chocolate.
