Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate - 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan. 2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
3. Stir in the sugar until well combined with the melted chocolate and butter.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Gently fold the ingredients together until well combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool before removing it from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
