A delightful and delicious ice cream cake, perfect for birthdays or celebrations. Preparation time is about 30 minutes, but the cake needs to freeze for several hours before serving. Serving size: 8-10 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 liter vanilla ice cream
- 1 liter chocolate ice cream
- 200 g crushed cookies (e.g., digestive)
- 100 g melted butter
- 200 g chocolate sauce
- 200 g berries (e.g., strawberries or raspberries)
- 100 g whipped cream for decoration
Instructions:
1. Prepare the cookie base by mixing the crushed cookies with the melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a cake pan.
2. Let the vanilla ice cream sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften. Spread the softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the cookie base.
3. Allow the cake to freeze in the freezer for about 1-2 hours.
4. Take the chocolate ice cream out to soften, then spread it over the vanilla ice cream layer.
5. Pour the chocolate sauce over the ice cream and top with berries.
6. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
7. Before serving, decorate with whipped cream and add more berries if desired.
