A delightful chocolate cake with a surprise toffee caramel filling. Perfect for celebrations or a weekend treat.
Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 50 g butter
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl sugar (approximately 7 pieces)
- 2 pieces of toffee-filled Dumle candies
- 2 eggs
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 100 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, measure the heavy cream.
2. Chop the dark chocolate and cube the butter, then add to the saucepan.
3. Melt the mixture over low heat until smooth.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
5. Gradually add the flour and the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture.
6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and evenly distribute the Dumle candies on top.
7. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.
8. Let cool before serving.
