Chocolate Muffins with Frosting

Serving Size: 12 muffins
Ingredients:
- 2.5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 1 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 dl milk
- 1 dl oil
- 2 eggs
- 100 g chocolate (chopped)
Frosting:
- 200 g butter (softened)
- 4 dl powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1-2 tbsp milk
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare your muffin tin.
2. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add the milk, oil, and eggs to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
4. Gently fold in the chopped chocolate.
5. Pour the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool.
7. To make the frosting, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together. Add cocoa powder and milk, mixing until smooth.
8. Spread the frosting over the cooled muffins.
9. Allow kids to dip the muffins in sprinkles and enjoy!
