Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary or thyme, optional)
Instructions:
1. Peel and wash the potatoes. Cut them into long strips or your desired size.
2. Place the potatoes in a bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well to ensure the spices coat the potatoes evenly.
3. Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure the potatoes are not overlapping for even cooking.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C (428 °F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Turn the fries halfway through the cooking time.
5. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
