- 800 g potatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary (optional)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley) for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
2. Peel and cut the potatoes lengthwise in half and then into thin sticks.
3. Place the potatoes in a large bowl and add olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and rosemary. Mix well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
4. Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet, making sure they are not overlapping.
5. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the fries are golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through the cooking time.
6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
