A delightful and crumbly sand cake that melts hearts. Perfect for coffee breaks or special occasions.

Ingredients:

- 150 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp dark rum
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 50 g potato starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Beat the softened butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Stir in the dark rum.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, potato starch, baking powder, and vanilla sugar. Sift this mixture into the batter and gently fold together.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level the surface.
7. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through (test with a toothpick).
8. Allow to cool before serving.
