A fragrant and flavorful saffron-infused couscous dish, perfect as a side or a light meal. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- A pinch of salt
- 5 dl water
- ½ chicken bouillon cube
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- ½ packet of saffron (1/4 g)
- 5 dl couscous
Instructions:
1. In a pot, bring the water to a boil and add the salt, chicken bouillon cube, butter or olive oil, and saffron.
2. Stir in the couscous and mix well.
3. Remove the pot from heat and cover, allowing the couscous to absorb the liquid and spices for about 5-10 minutes.
4. Fluff the couscous with a fork before serving.
