A delicious Russian dressing that complements a pastrami sandwich. This recipe combines tomato ketchup, fresh herbs, and horseradish.

Ingredients:

- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 2-3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 1-2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons chopped basil
- 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 3-6 tablespoons grated horseradish
- 3 tablespoons chopped chives
- (salt to taste)

Instructions:

1. Rinse the fresh herbs and let them dry.
2. Prepare the mayonnaise according to your preferred method.
3. In a bowl, measure the mayonnaise and add the tomato ketchup.
4. Finely chop the basil, parsley, and chives, and mix them into the mayonnaise mixture.
5. Grate the horseradish finely and add it to the mayonnaise.
6. Stir in the smoked paprika, mustard seeds, and black pepper.
7. Mix all ingredients well and taste. Add salt if needed.
8. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and let it infuse in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
9. Serve the Russian dressing on a pastrami sandwich with pickles, coleslaw, and quick-pickled cucumbers.
